Here is my video for routing brake & shifter cable and cable housing on a carbon fiber bike frame. I had pulled out the existing cable and housing and found it to be a bit of a pain in the arse to feed the new cable through the frame. It always got stuck past the outlet holes or missed the hole entirely. I couldn't guide the cable with anything that I had, I tried needlenose pliers, dental piks, magnets, etc. So, I finally tried cutting a regular straw at a 45 degree angle and placed it down the hole and fed my cable and housing through again and the straw guided it straight through the hole on the first try. Had I done that from the get-go this whole process would have taken me about five minutes for the whole bike. I hope this can save you some serious time!
